I Found My New Nail Shop

OOolloo People!

Was on my hunt for the best Nail salon. From El Cerrito to San Leandro. Well equipped with Yelp, I believe I have found my salon. Great service. Friendly talented people. SimplyWonderful. A Family salon, "Mom" and 2 Daughters. 

Salon takes care of Hair and Nails. Hair cut starting at $8. A few guys popped up for a quick cut. Which I thought was cool. "Mom" finished nails and did a nice job on his hair. They also do designs. They will at least attempt any design you throw at them. So I am definitely excited about this place. Not only good but willing to try new things!! Gotta love it.

     People!!

Ive found a few more colors, various brands.

First group up, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, 410 Lavendar Cloud. 

Its like the cleanest purple ever. Almost white..I liked this so much I reapplied after a week.

Also, again 510 I Pink I Can. This is the girlliest princess pink. I love this Pink!!

New OPI! Came across this saucy color at a beauty supply. Part of the OPI  Texas Collection, its called Dont Mess With OPI. This color is dope. NO argument hands down. It looks amazing on your nails.

Crazed Crackle.. I am in no way knocking my precious OPI. But China Glaze has come out with its own Crackle supply. Its pretty good. Great for the price, and it works. So I definitely recommend buying China Glaze Crackle Glaze (less expensive foe same product). I tried 918 Crushed Candy and 980 Black Mesh.

Last but not Least# Useful

While at CVS, stumbled across Orly Bonder. Its a rubberized basecoat. I have to admit I was skeptical, but it works. Maybe extending polish life 3 days past normal time (before cracking). So definitely worth a try. I found it on CLEARANCE RACK! Whoooo hoooo. so even better right??... Just sayn.

Anyways I realize I am late. But maybe this is still useful..either way... be colorful people!

When it depends on you... be peaceable with all men.

When someone presents themselves as your enemy, count it a blessing. 

You may now be sure of who or what stands before you.

You deal with enemies accordingly, but what of your friends?

People will say anything to seemingly overcome you.

Watch how quickly they change when it becomes clear they have failed in their attempts.

People can be Typically Unbelievable.

Note to Self

Natural hair, bare nails, home grown eyelashes, present yourself blind to the world's vanity. Blind to the media's promotion of the best and baddest, highest and newest. Beauty is just being happy you. A few add-ons or extentions, sure why not, but always believe (and remind yourself) tht you are complete without them. So when you feel that you need them, it is time to remove it all, go bare. Remember that you are just fine without the add-ins and cover-ups. True beauty is confidence and contentment within yourself. But if you add-on, be sure it for you.  The best add-on is good health.

Ive learned...

To change my perception and point of view. What annoyed me before turned out the best thing for me. Gave it a chance, and realized, it was not so bad.

Ive learned...

Do not hold on to people that don't want to stay. Do not wear yourself thin with worry. Stress only brings pain.

Ive learned...

What I thought would be hard to be without, I cannot wait to severe all ties with. Never have Hate in my heart again. I must work on forgiveness. Hate is a strong word, strong feeling, dangerous feeling. Forgive, to be freed. Forgive to move forward. No Grudge. Cut it lose.. and walk.

Real Quick

Unexpected nice day. Let the dark clouds drift past, not the type of day to dwell on. Rinse the day away in a bubble bath. Good thoughts...Man is in the wind. Good motives and positive intentions come and go. Show face but fail to be made manifest. Yes, I seee right throught you! Show me you are here mind and body. Mind, because is so readily available. My summer starts March 24th.. :-)
