Matte About You Review

Just got my hands on Matte About You by Essie. I am

extremely pleased with the results. Essie does a wonderful 

job with turning high shine polishes into a matte finish.

Just to give a different range of results, I tested five polishes:

Petra by Zoya (Dark Grey)

Sew Phyched by Essie (Khaki Green)

Gumdrop by Orly (Minty Green)

Snowcone by Orly (Sky Blue)

Heli-Yum by China Glaze (Hot Pink)

 All the polishes worked great. I am very impressed. 

Dry time was very quick and painless. 

Fairly, inexpensive, bought it on Amazon for about $7. 

Once again, Thanks to Essie. I have another must have added to my collection.

Its been a long time. But I have Great news! I have found my nail method of choice. 

The Pros

Beautiful colors

Long lasting manicure

Easy application

No- Dry time

Easy removal (Acetone Soak off or Peel) 

Finished Product: HIGH SHINE

The Cons

I will let you know(LOL).

So what is it? Its called Gelish by Nail Harmony, yes, I am late. Nonetheless, I love this product. I tried this product first, at the nail salon. Originally asking to try Shellac, the Nail Tech suggested Gelish. I chose a Gold Glitter color called Bronzed. I loved it.. My gel manicure lasted 2 weeks. No dry time, no chipping, no smudging, NO WORRIES!

 

 Oh the possibilities. 

I watched closely, I had to try it on my own. So I made a trip and purchased everything I needed. You will need a UV Light. This allows for No dry time. I was so thrilled and excited. I still love my regular polishes though. But I'm so ready to try new things with my Gelish products. More updates to come, but for now, a few pics..

You would think I could get into the swing of things? Geeez! Ok I am back..again. its been a traumatic few months. Family. Friends. Ups. Downs. Deep Downs. Starting to recover. Hit an all time low. Hards times bring extreme emotions, actions, and ultimately extreme reactions. But moving on, pushing thru. Hard times can pull a family or any group together, even if for one common goal. We are testing the waters. But the tide has definitely changed. What can we do? We can only keep going. Stopping is not an option. Although it seemed impossible. I miss my Uncle. I miss old times. But losing my family member impressed upon me that you shouldn't let petty atttudes and differences get in the way of love, progress or consistency. Self control is a must. When its all over, all you have is family and friends.

But on a good note, I have the oppotunity to join Blinging Beauty. Working with Tracey Brown the beauty guru, its definitely exciting. Being a part of that has kept me somewhat upbeat.
